Please wear athletic clothes to class if you have never danced before! Our studio has shoes you can barrow until you decide what classes are best for you! If you are already enrolled in classes, please wear the corresponding leotard color that is assigned to your class level. If you have any questions please call or email us!
Why Julia's Academy of Dance?
1. At Julia's dance we welcome and cater to dancers of all ages and experience levels in order to create a fun and accessible learning atmosphere.
2.We train dancers in the traditional, classical Russian ballet pedagogy of Agrippina Vaganova. This codified technique is designed to enhance precision and minimize risk of injury.
3. Our studio is a home studio for the Nutcracker Magical Ballet Experience with the Moscow Ballet. Each year, dancers have the opportunity to rehearse side-by-side with industry professionals.
4. Julia's dance is proud to support the arts in Norman and the greater-OKC area. Both on and off stage, a family-oriented environment is at the heart of our operations.
WE ARE HONORED TO HAVE BEEN SERVING OKLAHOMA'S DANCERS FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS.
The Julia's Dance Methodology is based on the Vaganova method of ballet.
This is a classical, traditional Russian ballet.
We also offer enrichment classes in Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop.
